Concept
The idea of the golden cave comes from classic adventure movies and games. The main protagonist has to delve into an ancient ruin and fight off bandits that are also looking for ancient artifacts that will be used for nefarious purposes should they acquire them first.
Below is a mood board of the feeling I wanted to invoke within the level.
